The Michelle Bridges 12WBT is a very popular health and fitness site, with a large community of highly engaged members. We started working in the middle of 2011, and it took around 3 months to build and release. Since then, we’ve been pushing out incremental improvements and new features via regular sprints.

What’s On is no ordinary events website. To maximise engagement with the many different communities within the City of Sydney, we built a customised event listing function, allowing organisers to submit their events directly to the website. Visitors can browse events listings via a range of search tools, to find local events, free events and more.

Diageo Turnkey application

Multiple brands, hundreds of locations and four different supplier agencies brought together in one web-based application. That’s the solution we developed for Diageo – the organization behind the biggest spirit, beer and wine brands in the world.

Working with the GHO Agency, we developed a a system for Diageo Australia to manage the process of ordering promotional material for pubs and clubs.

Earth Hour 2008

We built this site for WWF to support Earth Hour 2008, using a Ruby on Rails backend. The site has a strong social aspect, with people able to invite friends to grow their “tree”, as well as submitting content from Flickr & Youtube. The site was extremely popular, with over 4 million unique visitors a day.

  • The distributed authoring of news feeds for each of the participating cities, as well as live updates during Earth Hour
  • Integration with Facebook which at the time, was novel
  • Managing enormous load – at it’s peak the site carried 4.2 million unique visitors a day during the event.
